Mission

The ICAI Dar es Salaam (Tanzania) Chapter is committed to advancing the profession and serving its members by:

  • Continuous Professional Excellence Delivering high-quality CPE programs, technical seminars, and knowledge sessions aligned with global best practices and ICAI standards.
  • Local Relevance, Global Outlook Keeping members abreast of developments in Tanzanian tax laws, regulatory frameworks (TRA, BRELA, TASAC, NBAA), IFRS updates, and the wider East African Community business environment.
  • Professional Networking & Collaboration Providing a vibrant forum for members to connect, share expertise, and build meaningful professional relationships across industries and borders.
  • Advocacy & Representation Championing the professional interests of members before ICAI, Tanzanian regulators, and partner accounting bodies, while strengthening the recognition of the Indian CA qualification in the region.
